Weirdness with Edcor Order

There was one thing about my Edcor delivery today which surprised me a bit.

The shipping box contained a packing slip and each piece of iron had a small sticker on it identifying the part number. However, the large stickers which have, to date, been included with all my orders were absent.

These are stickers like the one below from one of the transformers sitting in my parts stash.

I like to use these stickers, either in part or in full, on the inside of my project chassis to clearly identify the capability and wiring of each transformer or choke. But these stickers were suspiciously absent from this order.

I wonder if this was just an oversight or a change. If they are no longer including these I will be disappointed. I found them very useful.

As always, questions and comments are welcome.

Update:

I heard back from Edcor. This is in fact a change they’ve made to reduce costs and waste. So the transformer specification sheet stickers are no more. I guess I’ll have to resort to using the sharpie I use for other markings on the internals of my amps. Times change.
